Our Chat-room rules are as follow:
1- Refraine from posting in the Chat-room if you are not a Student, professor or any other member of this site.
2- DO NOT use offensive language or swear. A little is fine, but don't swear every other word and nothing extreme. This applies to avatars as well. Unsuitable pictures will be removed and a warning issued.
3- Please don’t compose your replies fully in Capital letter as that we mean that you are shouting at members which we deem inappropriate.
4- Be polite at all times, that means when a Professor is on address them as Professor whatever their name is thank you!
5- Do not flood the chat rooms at any times since it may disrupt the smooth functioning of the chat room and if any such members are reported appropriate action will be taken up against them.
6- As this is an English speaking site we ask that our members post only in English. Only speak in English please when in the Chat-room. If you can speak an other language for example french you may use it in such a way:
Vella_Riddle: * Muttered something in French*
7- Trolling is strictly disallowed. We define a 'troll' as someone who's purpose on the site is to create as much disruption as possible, offend as many people as possible or otherwise cause disruption intentionally for personal amusement. Behaviour that can be defined as "trolling" generally involves the posting of knowingly false or offensive comments or views designed to provoke, bait and annoy other members.
8- Do not be rude, insulting, offensive, snide, obnoxious or abusive towards other members.
9- Display names intentionally registered for promoting commercial or noncommercial organization and ventures are strictly disallowed. Please choose a sensible display name.
10- Have fun Chatting with your fellow Members!
If you break any of these rules then we will take away the Chat-room. So please for the sake of everyone else DO NOT break these rules
