"Bye! Ow! Hobbes!" Mandy grabbed her hand. "He's leaving now, you can stop freaking out."

" So why do you think Luke was up here?" A voice came out of no where.

Mandy jumped and Hobbes automatically went back to hiding under her spread-out purple trenchcoat. 'Hm? Ah...I dont know."

Stress was building up on her, sometimes she wished that she had attended a normal high school, or rather, a normal muggle school, it wouldn't have been as weird as Hogwarts, as well as magic. She knew of both and had the choice of entering both, being a witch sounded so much more exciting than being a 'normal human' back when she was younger, now she wasn't so sure about that. Obviously she had shown magical abilities, which was why she was invited to attend Hogwarts, but that hadn't mean she had to attend and it was rather to late to pull out, while they learned some things, she was sure, or at least according to her father, that normal muggle schools ran things a bit more differently.
One place to get out of the stress was visiting the Owlery, which her own owl, Hera, resided. Soon, she reached the Owlery, the voices drifting down to her ears, one obviously female, the other male. Curious as well as wanting to be there in the first place, she saw two students. She made no sound, voice wise to introduce herself but glared at the younger Hufflepuff and her cat. It was an Owlery, not a Cattery and though it didn't show any signs, it could easily try to eat, or "play" with one of the owls.
With a sigh, she turned towards her owl which had made it's way down within the Owlery and perched itself on a 'ledge'.
